Key Requirements

To be eligible to apply for FUTD’s Post-UTME or DE Screening, you must satisfy all the following:

• UTME Score: Must have scored at least 150 in the 2025 UTME.
• O’Level Results: At least five (5) relevant credit passes including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
• Choice of Institution: FUTD must have been selected as your First Choice during JAMB registration. If it wasn’t, you need to change institution via the JAMB portal.
• Direct Entry Candidates: If applying by DE, you must have the required qualifications for DE (e.g. ND, NCE etc) and satisfy relevant departmental requirements.

Screening Fee & Process

• Screening Fee: ₦2,000 (non-refundable) to be paid via Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR), either at a commercial bank or online via debit card.
• How to Register:
  1. Go to the FUTD portal: futd.edu.ng
  2. Login using your UTME registration number as username and State of origin as the default password.
  3. Generate the RRR for ₦2,000 and make payment.
  4. Fill in the online screening form, upload required documents, follow all instructions.
  5. Print the acknowledgement slip as proof of registration.

Important Dates & Cut-Off

• Screening starts from Friday, 19th September 2025.
• JAMB Cut-Off Mark: FUTD requires a minimum UTME score of 150.
• Also noted: General schools/JAMB minimum score for federal universities is around 140, but FUTD’s stricter internal cut-off for this session is 150.
